- Field observations at job sites in the region.
- Sampling and testing of construction materials such as soil, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel.
- Preparing accurate daily logs that outline inspections and test results.
- Daily communication with the project manager or operations manager regarding project progress.
- Reliable vehicle for field work, valid driver's license, and satisfactory driving record.
- Must meet pre‑employment requirements.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 60–80 pounds.
- Ability to work in all outdoor climates and navigate various terrain.
- Attention to detail and quality while adhering to all safety requirements.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Use of company‑provided tablet and working knowledge of MS Office programs.
- Ability to perform basic math and use measurement tools.
- With training, ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Hiring preference will be given to experienced technicians with verifiable certifications such as ACI, NICET, WACEL, etc.
