To qualify for the ISSEP certification, candidates must have a minimum of two years of professional experience in engineering, along with relevant experience in one or more of the ISSEP domains outlined in the Common Body of Knowledge (CBK).
Certification details:
The passing score is 700 out of 1000. The exam consists of multiple-choice and scenario-based questions, lasting 3–4 hours. Candidates may register through the official ISC² website.
ISSEP must be maintained through Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. Certified professionals are required to earn CPE credits to maintain certification status.
