Geotechnical Staff Project Manager

Range: $70,000 - $80,000/year. Final agreed compensation will be based on specific location and qualifications.

• Assist with the preparation of geotechnical reports, including analysis and recommendations in collaboration with senior staff.
• Manage construction materials testing (CMT) projects: review daily reports, resolve issues, and train field staff.
• Manage project budgets for geotechnical and CMT projects and prepare invoices.
• Perform boring and test pit layouts and evaluate site access.
• Prepare drilling packages and obtain utility clearances.
• Conduct research on local geologic history.
• Supervise field work performed by drilling/test pit crews and assist with rig access issues.
• Perform in-situ and specialized geotechnical field testing.
• Classify soil samples and assign appropriate laboratory testing.
• Assist with preparation of proposals for geotechnical and CMT projects for training and development.

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
• No prior experience required.
• A professional engineering license is not required for this position but is encouraged for career progression.
• Valid driver’s license required if representing any ECS subsidiary.
