Customer Service Associate

Customer

Experience:

• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Model and share best customer service practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits such as offering help proactively, identifying needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Operations:

• Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend items for sale, trade‑ups, and companion items.
• Register customer purchases on the assigned cash register, handle cash, change, voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keep counters, shelves, and displays clean, well merchandised, and well stocked; take inventory and maintain records; check in and price merchandise as required.
• Implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation of food items, product placement, and stock rotation using FIFO methods.
• Maintain knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo, poster print, and machine services; sell photo products.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities, monitoring orders and delivering to customers as they arrive.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean and orderly store.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete required PPLs as requested by the Manager or assigned by corporate.

• Basic Qualifications:
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Six months of retail experience.
• Previous work experience with Walgreens.
