Position: Logistician Senior with Security Clearance

We are seeking a senior logistics expert to provide guidance and oversight on logistics operations, including procurement, transportation, and supply chain management, to support the PD Aerostats program. Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain comprehensive logistics plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure that logistics operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, testing, and operations, to ensure that logistics requirements are met and that logistics operations are aligned with program objectives.

* Conduct logistics analyses and studies to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for optimizing logistics operations.

* Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers, to ensure that logistics operations are conducted smoothly and efficiently.

* Provide expert guidance and support to logistics team members, including training and mentoring on logistics best practices and procedures, to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.

* Stay current with changes to logistics regulations, policies, and procedures, including updates to Army and DoD policies and procedures, to ensure that logistics operations are compliant and aligned with current requirements.

* Develop and maintain logistics documentation, including logistics plans, reports, and metrics, to support logistics management and oversight.

* Identify and mitigate logistics risks, including developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies and plans to ensure that logistics operations are conducted safely and efficiently.

* Develop and deliver briefings, reports, and other presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders on logistics operations, including providing expert testimony and advice on logistics matters.

* Serve as a subject matter expert on logistics matters, providing guidance and support to other teams and stakeholders as needed.

* Develop and implement logistics process improvements, including identifying opportunities for cost savings, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

* Collaborate with other senior logisticians to develop and implement logistics strategies and plans that support program objectives and goals.
Requirements
* Ten (10) or more years of working experience in the Life Cycle Logistics field and familiarity with Defense Acquisition.

* BA/BS or higher.

* A Master's degree or higher may be substituted for 4 years of experience as long as their degree is in a related field.

* Secret clearance

Salary at RSC2 is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,693 - $159,630 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical total compensation range for this position.
