Warehouse Auditor

Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Auditor and Lumper in Aberdeen, Maryland.

Warehouse positions pay weekly. Equipment:

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers. Ensure all scanning is completed correctly. Help train dock employees on new procedures. Ensure facility is secure at end of shift; investigate/resolve scanning issues and perform picking and packing duties. Check for evidence of product or container damage.
• Perform tasks according to location policies and procedures, including handling of materials within associated transactions.
• Perform material moves with physical/logical transactions as required.
• Participate in workgroup and team activities for self-improvement and warehouse operations.
• Perform housekeeping duties for the assigned area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required; one year or more preferred.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.), including maintenance (battery changes, recognizing common issues) – intermediate required.
• May be required to operate manual/automated other warehouse/manufacturing equipment (e.g., packaging line) – intermediate preferred.
• Powered industrial truck certification.
• Ability to read and perform basic math in English for safety and work instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to input data into the WMS system in use.
• Ability to work overtime as assigned.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels; work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible, self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment; highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks and related equipment; previous repetitive mention in original posting retained here for completeness.
