A typical day for a Registered Nurse includes:

  • Ensuring delivery of high-quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Providing medically prescribed services such as ventilator and tracheotomy care, G-tube feedings, medication administration, and first aid.
  • Supervising LPNS and caregivers.
  • Coordinating care with medical providers.
  • Ensuring compliance with care plans and guidelines.
  • Supporting our mission to promote independence and meaningful lives.
  • Training and developing caregivers and staff.
  • Supporting branch operations.

Qualifications include:

  • Support of Help at Home’s mission and values.
  • Reliable transportation within the surrounding counties.
  • Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and DDID medication administration training.
  • Current Nursing License.
  • Compliance with state background screening requirements.
