Ag Processing Inc (AGP) currently has an opening for a self-motivated full time Maintenance person to join our team in Aberdeen, SD! This person will be responsible for determining and completing appropriate repairs in an efficient manner with the least affect upon production.
** Responsibilities**:
* Monitor, repair and maintain plumbing, pipe fitting and gearboxes for entire facility.
* Perform welding, torch and plasma cutting in order to complete various repairs.
* Complete daily paperwork including equipment inspection and location parts for other departments.
* Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate.
* Maintain plant sanitation standards.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
** Requirements:
*** High School diploma or equivalent.
* Some experience in a mechanically related field or equivalent.
* Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications.
* Skilled in operating a forklift, bobcat and end-loader.
* Skilled in using hand tools including screwdriver, hammer, drill and pliers.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
