Job Summary

Avera St. Luke's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high‑quality nursing care to patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Position Details

• Location: Avera St. Luke's Hospital
• Work Shift: Primarily days with night, weekend, and holiday on‑call involvement (United States of America)
• Worker Type: Regular (Full‑time)
• Pay Range: $33.50 – $46.50 per hour (actual based on experience)
• Benefits: PTO available day 1, up to 5% employer matching retirement contribution, career development resources
• Student Loan Repayment: up to $10,000, $167 per month extra payment
• Sign‑On Bonus: up to $20,000 for 3+ years experience; $15,000 for new graduates

What You Will Do

• Provide patient care according to physician prescriptions and nursing care plans
• Develop nursing care plans based on patient assessments and nursing diagnoses
• Teach patients and families healthcare requirements and self‑care skills
• Evaluate patient care outcomes and modify plans as needed
• Maintain a safe and secure patient care environment per infection‑control policies and medication protocols
• Document patient care services in records
• Maintain equipment and supplies, troubleshoot breakdowns, and coordinate repairs
• Maintain competency in nursing skills as required by leadership

Essential Qualifications

The individual must be able to work the specified hours, perform all essential job functions with adequate visual acuity and effective communication, and comply with all regulations. Reasonable accommodations may be made as long as they do not cause undue hardship.

Required Education, License/Certification

• Registered Nurse (RN) – active state nursing license upon hire

Preferred Education or Experience

• 1–3 years of experience working in a clinical environment
