Senior Cost Controller; Part-Time

Cammach are currently recruiting for a Senior Cost Controller (Part Time) on behalf of our Aberdeen based client. This is a 12-month contract position offering a hybrid working arrangement.

• Lead the delivery of cost control services while providing senior leadership, mentoring, and support to cost controller(s) within team.
• Ensure the required information is collated, validated and reviewed through engagement with the wider Finance function, so that grant claims submitted under the Grant Funding Agreement meet the required level of definition and supporting evidence, enabling successful claim approval and payment.
• Follow company policies, procedures and contractual agreements.

• Delivery of Cost Control Services from self and team member
• Lead the delivery of cost control services.
• Drive monthly cost reviews with incumbent budget holders
• Co-ordinates and delivers monthly/ quarterly project information for senior management/ Q  reviews etc
• Provide senior leadership, mentoring, and support to other cost controller(s) within the team.
• Collate required information to ensure grant claims are approved and paid by DESNZ.
• Ensure project cost and schedule alignment
• Provide cost data required for Government, negotiations, financing or commercial
• Provide back-up for Cost Controller
• Provide ad-hoc cost analysis and management presentations as required
• Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager.
