Audit Senior

A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Hereford is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Senior to lead assignments from planning through to completion across a varied client portfolio. Hereford has a well established and diverse local business community, and the firm's client base reflects that, offering breadth across sectors and business sizes. The firm has a strong regional reputation for the quality of its work and a clear pathway to Assistant Manager.

What's the day to day of the role:
Leading audit assignments from planning to completion across a varied portfolio Preparing and reviewing audit files to a high technical standard Supervising and coaching junior members of the audit team Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process Communicating findings and recommendations clearly to managers and partners

Required skills and qualifications:

ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification, with a strong audit background At least three years' experience within a UK Practice environment Proven experience leading audit assignments and supervising junior staff Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks Confident client facing manner, well organised across multiple deadlines Benefits:
