As

an Accounts Assistant based in Aberdeen, you’ll be responsible for:

Supporting 23 William Wilson branches across Scotland
Assist the Management Accountant & Finance Manager with weekly, monthly & ad-hoc reporting requirements
Processing branch banking and resolving any resulting queries
Coding & processing direct debits, standing orders & online payments
Preparation of bank reconciliations
Petty cash management
Recording of online payments and customer cheques received
Preparation of weekly and monthly reports for management
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Maintenance of sundry sales ledger

This is a Full Time permanent position working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 4.30pm with 1/2 hour lunch break.

Prior finance experience is preferred
Ability to prioritise competing demands on time
Experience of working to deadlines
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong Excel skills
Flexibility – willing to learn a wide range of department procedures
