Medical Secretary – Parent and Infant Mental Health Service

Location:

Fern, Elmwood, Aberdeen.

• Provide administrative and secretarial support to clinicians within the service, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the service.
• Audio typing, referral processing and booking appointments using the patient management system.
• Manage emails, telephone enquiries and a range of general administrative tasks.
• Log into the phone system daily and support reception when required.
• Provide administrative support to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) during busy periods of leave.

• Motivated, reliable individual with excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
• Able to work autonomously, a confident team player, and able to prioritise workload to meet service demands.
• Strong organisational and computer skills; confident using IT systems.
• Experience with NHS systems highly desirable (e.g., Trak Care and Dragon).

Full‑time permanent. Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm to provide cover during PIMHS core hours.
