Salary: Circa £26,361 per annum (plus £50 per sleep in)

Full Time 37 hours, Permanent (based on an 8-week rolling rota)
- 12 hour shifts at 9am-9pm
- Sleepover from 12pm until 12.30pm the following day (sleep 11pm-7am)
- Working on a rolling 8 week rota, weekends included

We provide support to 16-21 year olds in a residential setting. As a Residential Worker, you will build happier lives for children, young people and their families by agreeing and directly delivering interventions in accordance with organisational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Clifton Road care service supports young people 16‑21 years of age who have been previously looked after in care. We provide accommodation and support in a residential setting with a range of services to meet individual needs in partnership with other agencies to improve the life chances of young people and help support independent living.
Responsibilities- Supporting and implementing care planning for individuals and young people.
- Undertaking assessments of needs and assessing and managing risks.
- Supporting children and young people with independent living skills.
- Administration of medication and clinical procedures.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships.
- Emotional and social support.
- Ensuring records and reporting are maintained.
- Preparing, managing and building positive relationships with service users to effectively live independently.
- HNC in social care and/or SVQ 3 or willingness to work towards them.
- Registered with SSSC or willingness to do so within 6 months of employment.
- Experience working with children and young people and multi‑agency work.
- Experience managing challenging behaviour e.g. looked after children, attachment behaviour.
- Knowledge of risk assessment and safeguarding.
- Excellent IT skills.
