Location: Aberdeen City

A great opportunity for a Project Manager is now available to join a well-established Construction Company based in Aberdeen. They are winning regular new contracts across a variety of sectors and they require an experienced Project Manager who has knowledge of the Construction industry to join the team. You will be joining an established and experienced team who carry out work to the highest of standards.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the internal construction division management team and supporting departments.
  • Overall project management of assigned projects including programme progress, cost control, labour management and management of subcontractors.
  • Participate in strategic discussions and planning.
  • Set the standard for quality and health and safety whilst leading by example.
  • Liaise with project design team.
  • Develop construction programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with IMS and quality management systems.
  • Oversee / undertake site inspections on a daily basis.
  • Investigate damage, accidents or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
  • Attend and report at weekly contract meetings and monthly review meetings.
  • Attend project pre-start, progress, technical and other meetings as required.
  • Work closely with Commercial Team.
Essential
  • CSCS Card
  • Driving Licence
Desirable
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Managers Card
  • Bachelor's degree related to construction or engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Management qualification NVQ/SVQ level 5, or above, is desirable.
  • First Aid at Work, 3-day course or equivalent.
  • Risk Assessment & Method Statement qualification.
