Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – Aberdeen
Penguin Recruitment supports a well‑established UKAS‑accredited asbestos consultancy in seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team in Aberdeen.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dual‑qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to work across a varied portfolio of commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties throughout Aberdeen and the surrounding region.
The RoleAs an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst you will deliver both asbestos surveying and analytical services to a high professional standard while ensuring full compliance with current HSE guidance and UKAS procedures. You will work independently and with an experienced technical team, managing a varied workload across multiple client sites while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG
264. - Undertake air monitoring, four‑stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing and smoke testing in accordance with HSG
248. - Produce accurate, detailed and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports.
- Collect bulk samples and maintain accurate site records.
- Work across commercial, industrial, public sector and residential properties.
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and internal teams.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance and UKAS standards.
- BOHS P402, P403 or P404 qualifications (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
- Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and UKAS requirements.
- Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
- Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively.
- Full UK driving licence.
