Video Editor – Podcast; Part time

This is an opportunity for a skilled podcast video editor to collaborate on the early development of a new podcast channel. The role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling through video and eager to contribute to a growing project from its inception. You will be responsible for editing raw podcast footage and creating engaging short-form content, such as reels, to help expand the channel’s reach.

The position is part-time, contract-based, and fully remote, with a flexible schedule and an expectation of editing one video per month. This role is well-suited for editors who are comfortable working independently and can bring creative ideas to the table.

• Edit full-length podcast video episodes from raw footage, ensuring high-quality audio and visual output.
• Create short-form video content (reels) optimized for social media platforms to promote podcast episodes.
• Collaborate remotely to understand the vision and style of the podcast, adapting edits to fit the channel’s brand.
• Ensure timely delivery of edited videos according to the agreed monthly schedule.
• Implement feedback and revisions as needed to achieve the desired final product.

• Demonstrated experience in podcast video editing, with a portfolio or examples of previous work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Ability to edit both long-form and short-form video content for various platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively in a remote setting.
• Reliable internet connection and access to necessary editing tools.
• Availability to commit to editing one video per month on a part-time, contract basis.
