Customer Service Assistant – Aberdeen Airport – 42 Hours per week – £27,955.20 per annum
Come and join our friendly team.
As the face that represents APCOA and our client, you will provide a high standard of customer service, answering telephones and intercoms and dealing with face-to-face enquiries. You will ensure the car park equipment operates efficiently at all times, maintain cleanliness and provide a level of service which gives complete customer satisfaction. The role involves working days and nights on a four on/four off shift pattern.
Please note that a full driving licence is essential for this role.
What you will do:- Ensure all procedures are fully complied with
- Understand and be fully familiar with the parking equipment, pre-booking system, ANPR system and other related equipment
- Operate parking control equipment
- Be competent in the repair, maintenance, or replenishment of car parking equipment in line with manufacturers recommendations
- Regulate the entry and exit of vehicles to and from car parks
- Park vehicles in a way that maximises the potential space and revenue whilst ensuring risk of damage is minimised
- Ensure all paperwork is fully and accurately completed
- Complete vehicle Smart Check reports prior to using any company vehicle
- Drive, and care for all company vehicles carefully, complying with all appropriate legislation
- Monitor the appearance of the car parks and working areas, taking action to ensure that company standards are achieved and maintained
- Undertake regular/random mobile/foot patrols of the car parks and monitor activity to deter criminal activity Controlled Forecourt
- Understand and be fully familiar with the ANPR system and CCTV equipment
- Operate control equipment
- Regulate the entry of vehicles to the controlled forecourt
- Control the movement of coaches in the coach area
- Provide front line support in the event of equipment failure Customer Service
- Assist customers in distress or in need of assistance
- Ensure customer complaints and insurance claims are minimised
- Work with all managers and staff to implement successful marketing and promotional initiatives to increase sales and maximise income opportunities
- Ensure by your appearance and conduct, that customers will choose to use our services again
- Receive and answer in a polite manner parking enquiries from members of the public
- Answer the telephone and intercom in a professional manner and deal with all queries in accordance with APCOA’s operating procedures
