Ward Product Specialist (Based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Main Theatre Stores)

The Procurement Department are looking for a full time Ward Product Specialist to help support one of our busiest teams. An exciting opportunity exists for a self‑motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the Ward Product Management Team who supply support services for designated frontline patient care areas across NHS Grampian. Ward Product Management are responsible for ordering and delivering medical/surgical supplies, liaising with suppliers including the National Distribution Centre.

Placing orders on the Genesis and Pecos systems ensuring that the full range of product requirements in support of patient care are efficiently and effectively channelled through carrying out stock usage against minimum and maximum local stockholding of approved and authorised products. This vacancy is for a dedicated Ward Product Management Specialist post in the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Main Theatre Store team.

The post holder will be based in the ARI Main Theatre Store room.

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 36 hours a week

Additional Information For Candidates

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro‑ra. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
