Job Overview

1 x 12-month fixed‑term post of Specialty Doctor in Emergency Medicine. 1.0 WTE at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital. .

Role and Responsibilities

Successful candidate will work within the Senior Rota, limited to a maximum of 1:4 weekend working and may include night shift working. The post may be up to a 10‑PA contract on a flexible annualised basis. Detailed job plan will be negotiated upon successful application and interview. The role will include integration into existing multidisciplinary teams across the Emergency Departments (ED) of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, serving a total population of approximately 500,000 with over 100,000 ED attendances per annum.

Qualifications

Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required (licence to practise must be in place prior to starting in post). Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience as a Specialty Doctor or equivalent.
