First Aid Instructor

3t | Training Services (UK) is recruiting a First Aid Instructor on a permanent contract located in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. The role involves delivering 3t's approved suite of courses at 3t training centres.

3t is a global training powerhouse operating across 60 countries, focusing on up-skilling work forces in energy and safety-critical sectors.

Deliver 3t’s approved suite of courses within the given technical subject area at 3t training centres in a consistent, professional way which reflects 3t’s business integrity and culture.

• Deliver courses as required in line with 3t and accrediting body requirements.
• Support customers during course delivery as appropriate.
• Participate in standardisation and continuing professional development events as required.
• Provide support to trainee and existing Instructor/Assessors as appropriate.
• Support department growth through technical input to new courses, training standards, customer meetings and continual improvement of existing courses.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment.
• Apply 3t and where appropriate Client’s HSE Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure that all 3t quality and operational procedures are always adhered to.
• Maintain and embrace ownership of departmental policies and procedures.

Preferred:

• Medical Practitioner, General Nurse or Paramedic certification
• Valid HSE or SQA First Aid certificate
• Industry recognised Assessor qualification
• Level 3 Teaching Qualification
• IOSH Managing Safely
• Frec 3 / 4
• Mental Health First Aid

Advantageous:

• Previous knowledge and experience of offshore ERRV crew working conditions and have a knowledge and understanding of prehospital care.
