First Aid Instructor

We’re seeking a First Aid Instructor to join our client based up in Aberdeen.

This role involves delivering accredited first aid and medical response courses to a diverse range of learners professionally and engagingly.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a suite of accredited first aid and medical training courses.
• Support learners throughout their training journey.
• Participate in standardisation and professional development activities.
• Mentor trainee instructors and contribute to course development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the team to improve and expand training offerings.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be calm, methodical, and an excellent communicator.
• Have strong technical knowledge and leadership skills.
• Be highly organised and able to manage competing priorities.
• Provide constructive feedback and support learner development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical Practitioner, Nurse, or Paramedic certification
• Valid HSE or SQA First Aid certificate
• Recognised Assessor qualification
• Level 3 Teaching Qualification
• FREC Level 3 or 4
• Mental Health First Aid certification
• Offshore emergency response or ERRV crew experience
• Knowledge of prehospital care practices
