Lecturer in Accounting (. L722)
Full Time/Permanent/Aberdeen City Campus & Fraserburgh Campus
Salary: £40,170.00 - £48,357.00 per annum
We currently have a vacancy for a Lecturer in Accounting, on a full-time basis. This post will involve developing and delivering a variety of topics for groups of students studying a range of courses with accounting requirements. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for teaching who is keen to pass on their knowledge of accounting to our students.
The ideal candidate should have an excellent working knowledge of and a skill set relevant to Accounting, qualified to at least SCQF level 9 or equivalent, in the subject area and have suitable and up-to-date experience in a relevant vocational area. An ability to deliver in other business areas would be an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key aspects of the role, together with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with students and colleagues.
Experience of teaching is not essential but you will be contracted to obtain TQFE (Teaching Qualification in Further Education) once employment has commenced if you do not already hold a relevant teaching qualification.
