A dedicated education agency is seeking passionate Secondary Supply Teachers to support learners across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in secondary schools within the Merthyr Tydfil region. The role involves flexible, ad‑hoc teaching placements for Year 7, 8, and 9 students, as well as GCSE classes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for supply teachers seeking variety and flexible working hours.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading classrooms, delivering engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum, and managing behaviour effectively. This includes preparing classrooms, planning schemes of work when necessary, and conducting both classroom and lab‑based activities. Teaching duties must adhere to the school's behaviour management policies to ensure a positive learning environment.

Candidates should have at least one year of teaching experience, though NQTs may be considered. Holding Qualified Teacher Status or an overseas equivalent is essential. Registration as a teacher with the Education Workforce Council is required, and support can be provided for this process. Applicants must present references covering the past two years with no gaps and have a current Enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one.

The ability to work legally in the UK is also necessary.
