Academic Support Worker

Randstad Student & Worker Support is seeking reliable and committed Academic Note Takers and Study Assistants to work with students at University of Aberdeen
.

As an academic note taker you will provide essential support to students with disabilities. You will attend lectures and seminars, taking accurate notes for students who cannot produce notes themselves.

• Produce accurate, legible handwritten notes for lectures, seminars/tutorials, and group tasks
• Review notes after each lecture and ensure they are in a suitable format for the student
• Maintain a professional relationship with students at all times
• Act in the best interests of learners while adhering to university policies and procedures

• Neat handwriting and the ability to produce legible, presentable notes
• Good typing skills
• Accurate spelling and grammar
• Punctuality and reliability
• Ability to work quickly and under time constraints
• Good organisational skills
• Experience working with individuals with specific learning difficulties in higher or further education (preferred)
