Location: Harlaw Academy

Duration: Permanent, Full Time

Roles requiring PVG membership will require candidates to cover the PVG membership cost. The Council will initially cover the cost, either £18 for existing members or £59 for non‑members, and this will be deducted from the employee’s first full month’s salary.

• Deliver quality education to assigned pupils.
• Contribute to the professional, corporate life of the school in relation to pupils, staff and appropriate external bodies within the agreements of the SNCT.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Social Subjects, with a particular interest in candidates who have substantial experience and expertise in Religious, Moral and Philosophical Studies (RMPS).

• Appropriate teaching qualification
• Full GTC (Scotland) registration in the appropriate subject/sector, or be eligible for such registration
• PVG scheme membership – Working with Children
