The Department of Computing Science, within the School of Natural and Computing Sciences at the University of Aberdeen, seeks to recruit a Teaching Fellow on a 6-month fixed-term basis to provide maternity cover. The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of teaching across our undergraduate and taught postgraduate Computing Science programmes, supporting students through high-quality, research-informed teaching and assessment.
Job DescriptionThis is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and collegiate department with a strong commitment to teaching excellence and an inclusive student experience. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced colleagues across a broad Computing Science curriculum and will be supported to contribute to module delivery, curriculum enhancement and the wider educational activities of the School. Although this is a fixed-term appointment, the successful applicant will be encouraged to engage with professional development opportunities, enhance their pedagogical practice, and participate in the vibrant teaching and scholarship community within the School and the wider University.
Salary will be at Grade 6, £38,784.00 per annum.
Should you require a visa to undertake employment in the UK you will be required to fulfil the minimum points criteria to be granted a Certificate of Sponsorship under the requirements of the Skilled Worker visa. At the time an offer of appointment is made, you will be asked to demonstrate that you fulfil the criteria in respect of qualification and competency in English.
