You will work closely with the Dean to develop and maintain systems and a culture which support and monitor high quality research in the School and contribute to the wider University research strategy. We are seeking an inspiring and strategic academic leader with a strong track record of research excellence, including securing external funding and producing internationally recognised publications. With a deep understanding of the higher education research and knowledge exchange landscape, including KEF, you will be skilled in developing and implementing strategies, processes, and partnerships that align with institutional priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.
The role requires a proven ability to lead complex change, achieve demanding performance targets, attract and oversee major research projects, supervise doctoral researchers, and build sustainable collaborations that enhance research and knowledge exchange activity.
