Senior Structural Designer

We are now seeking two experienced Senior Structural Designers to join our engineering team on a full-time, on-going contract basis. These roles can be based in our Glasgow or Aberdeen office on a flexible hybrid working model.

• Creates and checks engineering designs
• Responsible for ensuring designs meet project requirements
• Input to project plans
• Identify areas of concern during any project or study
• Produce cost‑effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value
• Ability to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution
• Undertake surveys, both onshore and offshore (Not essential)

Our ideal candidate will enjoy team working, will be customer and quality focussed, can use their own initiative and will be responsive to our business and client needs. You should also enjoy coaching and mentoring others.

We’d like you to have a HND in a relevant subject and previous experience in detail design with an awareness of other disciplines. You need to be competent and have an interest in working with Auto Desk design products. Experience of 3D modelling and offshore brownfield detailing is essential.
