Do you have a background in electrical engineering and want to design innovative modern building systems? Are you looking for an opportunity to work on large‑scale construction projects such as office buildings, schools, factories, and potentially more complex installations?

I am currently representing a well‑established electrical engineering company operating within the construction industry. They deliver full electrical solutions for large commercial and industrial projects, including wiring, power distribution, control cabinets, and automated systems for lighting and HVAC. They are now looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their Rotterdam‑based team due to continued workload and long‑term growth plans.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing electrical installations for a wide range of construction projects, working closely with clients and project teams. You will also visit sites for installations you have designed and use customer feedback to continuously improve and develop new systems. Training will be provided on the company’s specific systems and specialised industry applications.

The successful candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, a strong understanding of electrical safety, and experience designing or working with electrical installations. This is a long‑term position with opportunities to specialise further or progress into a Team Leader role.

• Design electrical installations for offices, schools, factories, and large buildings.
• Develop electrical and automation systems for lighting, HVAC, and building controls.
• Visit construction sites to support installations you have designed.
• Improve and develop systems based on customer and project feedback.

• MBO 4 with experience as an Electrical Engineer or HBO with less experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and standards.
• Fluent in Dutch (English is a bonus).
• Based in or commutable to Rotterdam.
