Project Planner

ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Planner you will be accountable for the schedule quality and project on‑time delivery, reporting to the Materials Manager.
- Scheduling Management:
Overall project schedule management ensuring its quality (logic, clarity) and accuracy (updating dates, reflecting scope). - Coordinating:
Collaborating with other planners (product line, engineering) and execution functions (engineering, procurement, manufacturing) to ensure schedule quality and accuracy. - Supporting Project Management:
Acting as the project manager's right‑hand by providing visibility on:- Creating look‑ahead activity plans for future milestones.
- Identifying schedule risks and mitigation actions.
- Highlighting opportunities in the schedule.
- Customer Interaction:
Providing schedule updates and explaining current situation, challenges, and opportunities. - Process Improvement:
Adhering to approved processes and proactively driving new initiatives for fully integrated planning.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in planning within the oil and gas/subsea industry or a large‑scale mechanical manufacturing or controls equipment environment.
- Knowledge of Oracle MRP considered a plus.
- Ability to understand the project status and link the schedule to execution reality.
- Ability to quickly assess risks and opportunities in the schedule and drive appropriate actions.
- Strong expertise in planning large projects using Primavera P6.
- High energy and motivation to deliver and make a difference.
- Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with planners and interact with a diverse panel of stakeholders.
