An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join a well‑established and growing ground engineering consultancy based in Aberdeen. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with initial industry experience looking to build a long‑term career within geotechnical and geo‑environmental engineering.
You will work on a wide range of exciting infrastructure, commercial, and development projects, gaining hands‑on experience alongside experienced engineers and geologists within a supportive team environment.
The Role- Assisting with ground investigations and site surveys
- Soil and rock logging on site
- Supporting geotechnical and geo‑environmental assessments
- Preparing factual and interpretative reports
- Assisting with laboratory scheduling and data analysis
- Supporting project delivery from site investigation through to reporting
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and project teams
- Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline
- Strong interest in ground engineering and site investigation
- Good report‑writing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Motivated attitude and willingness to learn
