Purpose of the position
:
As Trainee
Offshore ROV Pilot Technician you will be part of the ROV Operations department. You will learn how to operate and maintain ROV systems and develop your skills to become a Pilot Technician.
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and repair submersible machines (ROVs), TMS, winch, A-Frame etc
- Fault find on all ROV equipment
- Implement and monitor technical procedures.
- Ensure adherence to all internal and external Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements at all times.
- Participate in project tasks as outlined in the project scope of work.
What are we looking for?
- Education
: HNC (or higher) qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Hydraulic systems or relevant experience - Experience
:
Must have previous offshore technical exposure in a mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic field

: A 3/4-week training period will take place in the Aberdeen Office/Workshop before heading offshore.
