Offshore HSE Advisor x 2 required to join a global service company supporting a project in Liverpool Bay on a 3x3 rotation.

  • Contract Duration: 30th June to 1st October initially, with potential for extension.
  • Contract Type:
    Agency Worker / PAYE

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Expert support and guidance in all matters related to Health, Safety and Environment.
  • Support and guidance in legislative compliance.
  • Provide HSE leadership, guidance and oversight for all offshore operational activities.
  • Review and revision of HSE procedures and work practices.
  • Monitoring of the Combined operations HSE interfaces
  • Development and execution of local audit plans.
  • Support to regulatory interfaces.
  • Leadership and participation in incident investigation and risk management.
  • Focal point for Occupational Health.
  • Close relationship with Safety Reps providing advice and support.

REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Safety & Survival Certifications

  • Emergency and survival training: BOSIET / HUET / MIST
  • Valid Offshore Medical

Education & Professional Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree (in engineering, occupational health and safety, or environmental science) or a recognized technical/trade qualification.
  • HSE

    Certifications:

    NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or NEBOSH Oil and Gas / IOSH Managing Safely
  • Auditing certification such as lead auditor ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 preferred but not mandatory.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years offshore HSE experience.
  • Relevant Oil and Gas industry related experience (experience with well operations)
  • Significant knowledge of UK offshore oil and gas industry and legislation.
  • Strong knowledge of the application of safe systems of work in an offshore environment.
  • Knowledge of UK HSE permitting processes and relevant documentation.
  • Previous experience in hands-on roles (drilling, marine vessels, or mechanical construction) would also be highly valued.
  • Must have the Right to Work in UK
