Civil Design Engineer

What Are We Looking For?

RSE is looking to hire an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join the division on a permanent basis at our Aberdeen office. You will work as part of our in‑house, multidisciplinary design team and take on a key role in all aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client Specifications and current regulatory standards.

• Developing Civil design deliverables from concept to detailed design on a variety of projects within the water industry.
• Providing technical guidance on Civil engineering matters to the wider project team.
• Working in collaboration with our Delivery teams on the planning and implementation of the project design.
• Meeting with Clients to discuss specific intervention requirements to ensure compliance with needs and specifications.

• Degree/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of British and European design standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrable experience as a Civil Engineer in a design office with additional experience within the construction environment desirable.
• Experience with in the Water industry beneficial but other backgrounds may be considered.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
