Role Overview
The Integrity Engineer Asset Focal Point is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective execution of integrity engineering for a specified Offshore Installation. This role provides assurance to onshore and offshore personnel to ensure legislation and company Integrity Management policies are implemented and complied with. It works with the Asset Management Onshore and Offshore teams to monitor and review the Integrity Management of Assess, Inspect, and Repair Performance as a contributory factor to the Client's responsibility in the Management of Major Accident Hazards.
CharacterizationSupports proactive management, coordination and input to contribute to the ongoing suitability of the asset in meeting the requirements of the Offshore Installation (Safety Case) Regulations 2005 (SCR
05). The role project‑manages, implements and monitors the assurance process of Integrity Risk Management, including fitness for purpose assessments, anomaly management for pressure, structural and subsea pipeline equipment, and definition of Inspection NDT services. It ensures Discipline Engineers operate within their competence remit and Offshore Inspection Engineers fulfil their assurance role to produce robust integrity assessments.
- Acts as Asset Focal Point for Altrad Integrity Contracts.
- Ensures all activities are completed in compliance with HSE legislation, Altrad process and procedures.

- Key Integrity Focal Point for the Client for a specified offshore asset.
- Prepare, enact, monitor and verify integrity management systems for the area of responsibility.
- Champion the importance of enacting integrity management systems.
- Ensure that within the area and field of responsibility, asset integrity is not compromised.
- Introduce a proactive, rather than reactive, approach to improve asset integrity management.
- Coordinate activities with technical authorities.
- Maintain an awareness of the integrity history within and outside the area of responsibility to understand the full picture and implement lessons learned.
- Be responsible for overall management of fitness for purpose assessments and anomaly management for pressure, structural and subsea pipeline equipment.
- Coordinate strategy implementation.
- Communicate the appropriateness of remedial actions to legislative requirements and ensure appropriate actions are implemented.
- Champion interface management to align accountability with roles and responsibilities.
- Ensure relevant processes and procedures are followed by the incumbent, Discipline Engineers and OIEs.
- Custodian of the IQ process and registers for anomaly management – management and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate focus for Offshore Inspection Engineers through daily and periodic correspondence.
- Monitor the QA/QC of inspection reports to ensure they meet the intent to update a live RBA system.
- Provide integrity input to new projects as required.
- Delivery to Client and industry best practice expectations of Asset Annual Integrity Status reports through coordination of deliverables of periodical summaries from Discipline Engineers and OIEs.
- Support other personnel in statutory and regulatory responsibilities, where appropriate, such as preparation of end‑of‑year reports and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Review KPI and ensure they are achieved and reported.
- Contribute to the development of quality standards and ensure regulatory requirements are achieved.
- Arrange and/or perform post‑incident audits as required.
- Maintain a historical record of integrity‑related issues (action tracking).
- Report monthly the Integrity Status related to fitness for purpose assessments, anomaly management for pressure, structural and subsea pipeline equipment, presenting cumulative risk related to Process Safety Management Techniques.
