We are seeking a B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our Line Engineering Team in Aberdeen.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer and under the day‑to‑day supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the position holder will be required to perform line maintenance on various Company aircraft types.
Principal Responsibilities- Perform / certify aircraft maintenance – Scheduled Maintenance Inspections, MODS and rectification
- Maintain acceptable airworthiness and maintenance standards
- Issue certifications within the scope of authorisation
- Report incidents or lapses in quality involving a/c staff, material, plant, tools, equipment, premises or facilities
- CAA B1.3 Licence (consideration may be given to candidates holding an A License)
- Relevant experience and time on helicopters; time on the AW189 / S92 is preferred but not essential
- Excellent adaptable team worker, with good work and safety ethics
- Attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a small team
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- Numerical skills
- Motivated to provide a high standard of work
- Ability to consider the effects of actions on both the Department and the Company as a whole
- Demonstrate integrity in all aspects
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems
