SSEN Transmission in Scotland is seeking a Principal Engineer – Electrical Plant to shape technical policy and support the delivery of high‑voltage projects. You will lead technical specifications for substation plant, act as Technical Authority and collaborate across engineering, asset and operations teams.
You'll engage with industry forums, represent SSEN Transmission at UK events, and mentor colleagues while upholding safety and compliance standards across 145 kV+ networks.
