Civil Design Engineer – Aberdeen Office

RSE is looking to hire an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join the division on a permanent basis at our Aberdeen office. The role involves working as part of an in‑house multidisciplinary design team and taking on key responsibilities across all phases of projects, from scoping and detailed design to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards.

• Develop Civil design deliverables from concept to detailed design for a variety of projects within the water industry.
• Provide technical guidance on Civil engineering matters to the wider project team.
• Collaborate with Delivery teams on the planning and implementation of project design.
• Meet with clients to discuss specific intervention requirements and ensure compliance with needs and specifications.

• Degree, HND or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of British and European design standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrable experience as a Civil Engineer in a design office; additional experience within the construction environment desirable.
• Experience with in the water industry beneficial; other backgrounds may be considered.
• Full UK driving licence.
