• Provide clear, practical radiation protection advice to clients
• Prepare and review risk assessments, procedures and technical documentation
• Conduct onshore and offshore audits, ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery
• Deliver radiation protection training courses
• Mentor trainee RPAs working toward RPA
  2000 certification
• Share insight and best practice across projects and sectors

• You enjoy solving complex compliance challenges
• You’re equally comfortable advising clients or mentoring colleagues
• You can balance technical depth with practical judgement
• You like autonomy, but value a strong team around you
• You believe safety and pragmatism should always work together

• Valid RPA certification
• Experience advising within at least one relevant industry sector
• Excellent communication — written, verbal and technical
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Radioactive Waste Adviser (RWA) certification (or working towards)
• DGSA certification or knowledge of Class 7 transport regulations
