What You’ll Be Doing (And Why It Matters)This isn’t a single‑site, same‑routine role. You’ll work across a diverse project portfolio, supporting clients with advice that keeps people safe, operations compliant, and standards uncompromised.
- Provide clear, practical radiation protection advice to clients
- Prepare and review risk assessments, procedures and technical documentation
- Conduct onshore and offshore audits, ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery
- Deliver radiation protection training courses
- Mentor trainee RPAs working toward RPA
2000 certification - Share insight and best practice across projects and sectors
- You enjoy solving complex compliance challenges
- You’re equally comfortable advising clients or mentoring colleagues
- You can balance technical depth with practical judgement
- You like autonomy, but value a strong team around you
- You believe safety and pragmatism should always work together
- Valid RPA certification
- Experience advising within at least one relevant industry sector
- Excellent communication — written, verbal and technical
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Radioactive Waste Adviser (RWA) certification (or working towards)
- DGSA certification or knowledge of Class 7 transport regulations
