The successful Marine Engineer will join a multidisciplinary team delivering engineering consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of marine and offshore projects.
The RoleAs a Marine Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Delivering engineering solutions across marine, offshore and energy projects
- Undertaking engineering assessments, calculations and technical analysis
- Producing high‑quality technical reports and engineering documentation
- Supporting the design, assessment and integrity of marine assets and infrastructure
- Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients
- Providing technical advice throughout project delivery
- Supporting project planning, risk assessments and engineering reviews
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
This Marine Engineer position offers exposure to a wide variety of technically challenging projects across the marine and offshore sectors.
What We're Looking ForWe're looking for a Marine Engineer with strong technical capability and a passion for delivering high‑quality engineering solutions.
Ideally you'll have:
- Previous experience as a Marine Engineer, Offshore Engineer or Naval Engineer
- Experience working within the marine, offshore or energy sectors
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and technical reporting abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Degree-qualified in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
The following would be advantageous:
- Experience with in offshore wind, oil & gas or marine infrastructure projects
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)
- Knowledge of relevant offshore and marine engineering standards
- Consultancy experience
- Salary of £40,000-£95,000, depending on experience
