Formation Testing & Sampling Geoscientist
Baker Hughes is a leader in energy technology, delivering solutions across the energy value chain. We are seeking a seasoned Geoscientist to support formation testing and sampling programs.
Responsibilities- Real‑time QA/QC of logging operations, data validation, and on‑job analysis of gradients and fluid identification.
- Integrate petrophysical evaluation results into formation testing and sampling program design.
- Conduct formation testing and fluid sampling studies using state‑of‑the‑art techniques.
- Assist and advise the product line for pre‑job planning with the client, tool configuration, on‑job support, and post‑job review.
- Participate in direct sales/upsell and technical support of high‑end services.
- Prepare technical interpretation reports for wireline and drilling services.
- Graduate degree in a related field (Science, Engineering, Technology) with relevant work experience.
- Master’s degree in petroleum or reservoir engineering preferred.
- Operations/field experience in wireline and/or drilling services is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
- Ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
