Project Planner Lead

Job Purpose:

Responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring the overall integrated project schedule for the Project. The role will work closely with the Project Management Team, contractors, and other project disciplines to ensure the project remains on schedule and that risks, delays, and required mitigation actions are identified and managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the Integrated Project Schedule using Primavera P6.
• Develop and maintain schedules covering:
  Onshore and Offshore Commissioning, Start-up and Subsea Contractor interfaces, Sea Trials and Vessel Transit, Northern European Yard activities and Post-Yard activities
• Establish and migrate contractor schedules into the Company’s planning system.
• Review contractor schedules, logic, critical path, progress, and forecasts.
• Monitor weekly and monthly progress and challenge delays, low productivity, and schedule inconsistencies.
• Prepare and maintain look-ahead schedules, progress reports, trends, and forecasts.
• Develop and maintain the basis for Schedule Risk Analysis.
• Prepare inputs for monthly project reporting to project stakeholders and management.
• Work with contractors on run-down curves, recovery plans, and schedule optimization.
• Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation and recovery measures.
• Provide what-if analysis and schedule optimization support to the Project Controls Manager.
• Coordinate with the Project Management Team and contractors to ensure accurate and timely progress information.
• Support contractors in developing and maintaining integrated project schedules.
• Ensure schedules are regularly updated and accurately reflect project status.
• Provide planning advice and guidance to contractors and project teams.
• Maintain effective communication and alignment between the project team and the wider organization.
• Perform other planning and project controls duties as required by the Project Controls Manager or Project Director.

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 15+ years of project planning experience, preferably on major offshore / FPSO projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior planning or lead planning role.
• Recent relevant experience with Southeast Asian / Singaporean shipyards is required.
• Strong experience with Primavera P6 and project planning systems.
• Experience in project controls, schedule risk analysis, and contractor schedule management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including reporting and presentations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Commercial awareness and project controls experience would be an advantage.
