The developed product is a leading software system in the Energy domain, covering all aspects of Oil & Gas production—from geological exploration to the optimization of ongoing operations. Our technology solution enables geologists and geophysicists to efficiently research, visualize, and interpret large volumes of geological data. You'll be joining a senior, supportive, and friendly team, committed to delivering high-quality solutions in the industry.

• Provide engineering support in drilling and completions area to DWP team. Provide an objective assessment of Product Quality. Contribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product stories. Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria. Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality. Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing.
  
  Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows. Define, create and maintain Test environments. Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories. Verify Development changes have no undesired effect on other, associated areas of Functionality. Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion. Track Bugs through resolution and implementation. Verify Bugs are resolved according to Bug Definition.

• · Bachelor or Master Degree from a recognized university in petroleum, Geophysics, Geology or chemical engineering with minimum GPA 7.5 and above
  · Good understanding of upstream applications. (Preferred: EDT Applications)
  · Knowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including: o Well construction – drilling techniques, well control, fluids property management, drilling mechanics, performance monitoring o Well completions – completion designs, well performance analysis,
  · Experience with engineering applications such as Well Cat, Wellplan, Compass will be an advantage.
  · Comfortable with Agile methodologies
  · Excellent Communication Skills.

Experience with web applications test automation, API testing, Performance testing, AzureAWS cloud services QA experience (Experience with Oil and Gas Upstream applications preferred) Experience with SDLC/STLC processes and complete understanding of various testing types viz Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression and User Acceptance Testing etc. ISTQB foundation level certified (Optional) Well versed with Test Case creation, Defect and Test Management tool (Azure Dev Ops/TFS, JIRA) Basic understanding of Framework creation using any of the Automation tool.
