D R Newitt are working with a close client in the Food Industry who due to growth are looking for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
This is a 4 on 4 off pattern (days and nights).
On offer is a salary of £48,000-£49,000 plus unique company benefits.
key duties:- Electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Breakdowns
- Reactive and planned works
- Installation of machinery
- UK recognised electrical or mechanical qualification – NVQ level 3/equivalent or Above
- Be able to fault find in both electrical and mechanical machines/systems.
- Ability to understand Electrical and mechanical Engineering Drawings.
- Basic PLC I/O understanding.
- Conversion qualifications (to Elec/Mech)
- Good understanding of drives, motors, brakes, transmissions, closed loop feedback, transducers.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Self‑m
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines e.g production start up
