We are looking for aYouth Music Initiative (YMI)
Trainee to helpassistthe planning and delivery ofour new ‘Amplify’YMIfundedprojectin Aberdeen.
Amplify is an inclusive music-making programme for young people aged 12-30 offering accessible activities such as beat-making, lyric writing, musicmakingand voice.
The project will support young people facing barriers including poverty, trauma, neurodiversity, mental health challenges and care or justice experience.
The trainee should be in theearly stagesof their career and will be involved in all areas of the project - delivery, coordination, communication, and evaluation - gaining valuable insight into inclusive community music practice whilst developing youthwork skills.
The Amplify project runsfrom April 2026until March
2027.
