OverviewSchroders Personal Wealth aims to improve financial advice by making it more affordable, accessible, and powerful. As a Personal Wealth Adviser, you will help clients establish future goals, create financial plans, and make informed decisions through professional expertise and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver holistic financial advice to new and existing clients via face‑to‑face and virtual meetings.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships, helping clients understand and achieve their financial goals.
- Use cash flow modelling and financial planning tools to provide clear, insightful advice.
- Employ business development strategies to onboard new clients and collaborate with introducers.
- Manage a designated portfolio of clients, identifying ongoing advice needs and deepening relationships.
- Develop intergenerational connections and explore referral opportunities.
- Stay informed on market trends, legislative changes, and industry developments.
- Uphold SPW’s values and Consumer Duty responsibilities to deliver great client outcomes.
- Maintain professional standards and complete continuous development for your Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 6 / Chartered status desirable).
- Experience in holistic financial advice and building long‑term client relationships.
- Extensive experience in conducting client meetings and creating tailored financial plans.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including Consumer Duty responsibilities.
- Skilled in cash flow modelling to support financial advice recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for superior client service.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Great organisational skills to manage a diverse task list and deliver exceptional client journeys.
