Motorrad Aftersales Advisor - Barretts of Canterbury

Barretts of Canterbury - celebrating over 120 years as a trusted family-owned dealership - continues to grow with the launch of our dedicated BMW Motorrad operation. We are now seeking a passionate and customer-focused Motorrad Aftersales Advisor to join our team.
This exciting hybrid role combines both Service Advisor and Parts Advisor responsibilities, supporting our riders throughout their ownership journey.
About the RoleAs a Motorrad Aftersales Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our motorcycle customers, providing exceptional service, expert guidance, and aftersales support.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing service bookings and customer communication
- Advising customers on maintenance, repairs, and workshop requirements
- Handling parts enquiries, stock management and ordering
- Supporting the sale of rider equipment, accessories, and Motorrad lifestyle products
- Ensuring a seamless and premium customer experience in line with BMW Motorrad standards
You would be required to work a 40-hour week. Working hours would be 8:00-17:00 Monday to Friday with a 1-hour lunch break.
What We're Looking ForIdeal candidates will bring a combination of customer-facing experience and technical understanding:
- Customer service experience (automotive or motorcycle industry beneficial)
- Parts knowledge or previous experience in a parts advisory role
- Keyloop Drive experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Full motorcycle licence (highly beneficial)
- Strong communication skills, enthusiasm for motorcycling, and a proactive approach to customer care
- Discounted servicing and parts across the group
