Are you an analytical thinker with a background in financial services? Saffron Building Society is on the lookout for a dedicated ALM Analyst to support our ALM Manager and Balance Sheet Strategy function. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in our Finance team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of key analysis and reporting.

• Support the Balance Sheet Strategy team by delivering accurate management and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure precise data transfer and reconciliation to maintain the integrity of our financial information.
• Produce ALM analysis to support monthly ALCO reporting, contributing to informed decision‑making.
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of regulatory returns, adhering to compliance standards.
• Contribute to the development and optimisation of ALM, hedge accounting, and regulatory reporting systems.
• Assist in automating standard processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and timeliness to support financial oversight and risk management.

• CIMA/ACCA/ACT/ALMA qualified or desire to study.
• A strong background in financial services, ideally within a banking environment.
• Experience in ALM analysis, risk management, or regulatory reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem‑solving and a collaborative mindset.
