Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

Role in Transaction Taxes team placed front and centre of clients’ ambitions. Advises on tax implications of transactions including acquisitions, disposals, MBOs and internal reorganisations.

• Provide technical tax advice on mergers & acquisitions, exits, refinancing, equity raising, debt raising and business reorganisation.
• Support delivery of tax due diligence assignments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and intermediaries, delivering excellent client service and identifying opportunities for value‑added services.
• Collaborate with wider firm colleagues (Corporate Finance, VAT/indirect taxes, Innovation Taxes and Entrepreneurial Taxes) to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate impact to clients and colleagues.
• Support and promote continual development of junior colleagues through training, coaching and timely developmental feedback.

• Highly experienced tax professional operating at Assistant Manager grade or above.
• Relevant experience in corporate tax or private client tax advisory.
• Leadership of work and professional learning.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to positively influence others.
• Qualified CA and/or CTA (or equivalent) is essential.
• Experience of line management/coaching in an advisory setting is desirable.
